Genshin Impact 3.1 Update Release Date, Banners, Characters, and More
Genshin Impact's Version 3.1, "King Deshret and the Three Magi," will be released on September 28, 2022.
The update will include a new desert area, Sumeru, two new characters, new weapons and artifacts, and a variety of new quests and events.

Genshin Impact 3.1 Update: New Desert Area - Sumeru
Sumeru is a new desert area that will be added to Genshin Impact in the 3.1 update. The area is home to the Dendro Archon, Nahida, and the Sumeru Akademiya, a prestigious academy of scholars.
Sumeru is a vast and diverse region, with a variety of different landscapes, including deserts, forests, and mountains. The area is also home to a number of new enemies, including the Dendro Slimes, Dendro Samachurls, and Dendro Abyss Mages.
Players will be able to explore Sumeru and complete new quests and events in the 3.1 update. The area will also be home to a new weekly boss, the Dendro Hypostasis.
Genshin Impact 3.1 Update: New Characters
Two new characters will be added to Genshin Impact in the 3.1 update, Cyno and Candace.
Cyno is a 5-star Electro polearm user from Sumeru. He is a serious and dedicated member of the Akademiya, and is known for his powerful Electro abilities.
Candace is a 4-star Hydro polearm user from Sumeru. She is a kind and compassionate young woman who is always willing to help others. Candace is also a skilled warrior, and is able to use her Hydro abilities to protect her allies.
Genshin Impact 3.1 Update: New Weapons and Artifacts
A variety of new weapons and artifacts will be added to Genshin Impact in the 3.1 update.
The new weapons include the Staff of Homa, a 5-star polearm that increases the user's ATK and HP, and the Kagura's Verity, a 5-star catalyst that increases the user's Elemental DMG and Crit DMG.
The new artifacts include the Gilded Dreams set, which increases the user's Elemental Mastery and ATK%, and the Deepwood Memories set, which increases the user's Dendro DMG and reduces the Dendro RES of enemies.
Genshin Impact 3.1 Update: New Quests and Events
A variety of new quests and events will be added to Genshin Impact in the 3.1 update.
The new quests include the Archon Quest Chapter III: Act IV, which continues the main storyline of the game, and the Hangout Events for Cyno and Candace.
The new events include the Of Ballads and Brews event, which will allow players to earn Primogems and other rewards by completing challenges, and the Ley Line Overflow event, which will increase the rewards earned from Ley Line Outcrops.
